England Win Warm Up Game

The England U19 Team played their first warm up game in Philadelphia
against club side Mesa Fresh LC.

In hot conditions, and with the long flight the day before seemingly still in their legs the team were off to a slow start. In the third quarter down 7-3 the boys dug deep. With a never say die attitude, the team shone through as they slowly turned the game round to win 8-7, managing playing due to penalties with a 4 man zone in the last few minutes of the game.

The goalies had solid games along with the defence giving up only 7 goals. In attack chances were created but not finished until the second half.

Plenty to work on with the team before Canada, but they finished the game very strongly.
