The England Under 19 performance on the first day of the Championships demonstrated a resolve in this young and highly talented team. On more than one occasion the team found themselves trailing in their games, but found a depth of team strength and resolve to fight back and win the game.
They beat English Universities North in a compelling game to reach the next stages of the Championships knock-out stages.
